Board Members provide leadership, vision, and governance to support the mission of the Lewis & Clark Foundation. They serve as ambassadors for the Foundation by promoting its mission, supporting fundraising efforts, participating in strategic planning, and helping ensure the long-term success of the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center.

Responsibilities: 

Attend regular board and committee meetings.Support fundraising, membership, and community outreach efforts.Serve as an advocate for the Foundation and the Interpretive Center.Assist with strategic planning and organizational growth.Promote responsible stewardship of the Foundation's resources.Have FUN!

A Welcome Ambassador is the first point of contact for visitors to the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center. They welcome guests, process admissions, provide general information, and help create a positive first impression while ensuring every visitor feels valued and informed.

Responsibilities:

Greet visitors with a friendly and welcoming attitude.Process admissions and answer basic questions.Provide information about exhibits, programs, tours, and events.Direct guests to our Guest Relations Volunteers.Deliver exceptional customer service while representing the Center in a professional manner.

Special Events Volunteers help bring the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center's events to life by providing exceptional support before, during, and after programs, fundraisers, and community events. They create a welcoming atmosphere while helping ensure every event is enjoyable, organized, and memorable. Responsibilities:

Assist with event setup and cleanup.Welcome and direct guests.Help with registration, admissions, or raffle sales.Assist with pre-event activitiesSupport activities, vendors, and event staff as needed.Provide outstanding customer service and represent the Center in a positive, professional manner.

Guest Relations Volunteers are often the first people visitors meet at the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center. They create a warm, welcoming environment by greeting guests, providing information, answering questions, and helping ensure every visitor enjoys a memorable and meaningful experience.

Responsibilities Include:

Welcome visitors with a friendly and professional attitude. Provide general information about the Interpretive Center, exhibits, programs, and events. Provide each guest with a welcoming visitor orientation. Answer questions and direct guests to exhibits, amenities, and activities. Work collaboratively with staff and fellow volunteers to provide exceptional customer service.Enjoy and have fun
